I have to get an fairly early night tonight, belive it or not I'm working tomorrow and I'm all on my own. Hard work that is. finnish at 12.30 though so I just might survive!

Just have to do all those "have too"'s first, dog walking, dishes, hang the washing etc. etc.

second thought, I dont have to do anything, so I just might not!

    Nite nite!

  • oh what a day...

I was told today that I was intelligent but that I wasted it.
I was told that intelligence is a gift and I should be ashamed of myself for not using my intelligence (starts to drool a bit) I was told that doing what I am doing (I guess the person saying this means me doing as little as possible) is pathetic.
    I wonder why this is.
To me it is like this: Every person has an amout of intelligence some more, some less.
This is something you do HAVE, then you can use it in different ways.
Some use it to make money, some use it to cure deceases, some use it to design shoes etc etc etc.
I use it to do as little as possibly and at the same time live as happy as possible. How can that be a waste?
I have done quite a few things in my life so far, tried many different things, changed my perspectiv and tried things from various different angles and none of it has really interested me.
For example, I spent some time getting a degree in micro biology and genetics. Today I'm not using that knowledge at all, should I just because I've got it? Even if it would make my life miserable?
I can honestly say that I dont regret doing it, not at all, but I can say I probably would have regretted it if I had been working within the same sphere.
Who can say that something is a waste or not?
Who decided that the thing that matters is what you work with or what education you have?
Probably the same type of people that on the question "Who are you?" tells me what they work with. If i wanted to know what you work with I would have asked you that.
And besides, if this intelligence is a gift, it means it's MINE and for me to do whatever I want with, if I so want to put it in a box and store it in a cupboard and never use it again, that is entirely up to me.

So after having that said, I'm depressed! I've run out of cream mints! :(
But to cheer me up I (off course) been looking for shoes again
I normally like a clean graphic type of look, clean lines, solid colours but lately I've been looking at irregular choice's shoes...they are just too cute some of them, I just dont know how to pull them off together with my normal way of dressing... anyways for you who dont know IC's shoes here's a few eyecandies :)

All of them and more can be picked up from http://www.schuhstore.co.uk
    Aren't they just lovely! :)
Another nice thing about them is that they have pictures on the solea, that goes with the design of the shoes. This is definatley shoes for anyone who wants something original!
But as I said, when should I wear them?

So todays food is a super easy lovely pasta dish that anyone can make and that takes no time at all!

    400 grams of diced pancetta
    garlic (your choice how much)
    olive oil
    parsley
linguini (or any pasta of your choice)
    parmesan cheese

Boil the pasta ( I know you know how to )
While its boiling, finely chop the garlic, heat it up with plenty of olive oil in a pan (when i say plenty I mean like so it covers the bottom of the pan) not too hot we dont want to kill either the olive oil or the garlic, just soften. add the diced pancetta let the pancetta brown.
    Chop parsley
drain the pasta mix in with the garlic pancetta serve with plenty of chopped parsley, black pepper and parmesan cheese, and maybe some sea salt on top. enjoy!
    Easy enough!

  • I'm in looooove....

    Bassett's cream mints!

And dont come and tell me I shouldnt eat them for breakfast, I eat whatever I want for breakfast!

Can't belive I woke up this morning. I never wake up during the morning unless I really have to. (i.e when I'm working an early) but was really nice, the whole menagerie in the bed (including my man) all quiet and peaceful and the sun shining in through the window.
The only downside was that I woke up and my first thought was "I'm bored"....that doesnt feel too promising for the day to be honest.
Well went to the shop to get some milk for my morning coffee, and just happened to walk down the isle with the cream mints... so here i am, nom nom nom NOM!
It's funny, it always happens... I go to the shops to buy something simple; milk or smokes or whatever, so why is it that when I stand there paying I always end up paying £10 or more?
There went my jacket out the window, now I really will have to wait til after the 25th to get it, well I guess it'll give me a few extra days to decide wether to get the grey or the purple one, please help me someone!
So what am I doing today, well ofcourse, besides the daily shoe searching and dog walking I am thinking bout writing a letter to my local council and ask them to think more about the environment.
Seriously, where I come from (same place as santa to give you all a hint) we've been working with our environmental issues for like 50 years or so and it scares me now that I've moved here to see that you in this country are about where we were during the 70's.
Dont see it as a negative critisism, I think its wonderful that they/you/this country are doing things now. But it annoys me a bit that some things are going so incredibly slowly, when there apparently is functional ways of doing some things.
And why did I start to think about this again? Well because every time I go for a drive and I see the rubbish pileing up along the motorways I get properly pissed off! Can all you ppl, whoever you are, stop throwing things around, just 'cos something is used doesnt that mean that its no longer your problem!
And on that note: who are all you people who think that your closest lamp post also is your closest tip?
I'm fed up with all those microwaves, dishwashers etc etc I see parked every here and there, take some bloody responsibility and clean up your own mess!

Phew... I got a bit carried away then!

    Todays first shoes, no heels!
I've wanted those since last fall, and since I still want them, I just might go and buy them,
they dont really need any explanation:
